Direct Source Logistics was founded by Ira Greenstein, Cole Hargett, and Chuck LeDone — three industry veterans with over 60 years of combined experience in the produce business.

We didn’t start as brokers. We started as shippers.

This company was built out of frustration — brokers were mishandling our freight, missing deliveries, and costing us time and money. So we took it into our own hands. Today, DSL is a logistics operation run by people who understand what’s at stake when you're moving perishable freight.

We're based in Mount Kisco, NY, and we manage a network of over 120 refrigerated trucks under contract, all with carriers we’ve personally vetted. We specialize in fresh produce transportation, with a focus on reliability, communication, and speed.

We know what it’s like to have a truck not show up. We’ve dealt with delayed loads, product rejections, and peak season pressure. That’s exactly why our clients trust us — because we've been on their side of the business.
